The Society for Contemporary Art has a mission to support the Art Institute of Chicago by engaging the community in a dialogue about the art of our time and acquiring works that enrich the museum’s collection.
In 2020, the SCA needed to pivot their typically in-person aquisition meeting to a Covid friendly online format. The goal was to create a user friendly site that allowed members to explore the potential aquisition works in a similar way they would a physical gallery.
